Our shared history with Blackmores
The BioCeuticals brand is proudly owned by Australia’s largest natural healthcare company, Blackmores Group. Acquired by Blackmores in 2012, the BioCeuticals brand was originally founded by the Hall family in 1993. Blackmores is committed to progressing BioCeuticals as a Healthcare Professional only range of nutritional and therapeutic medicine, and operates the brand as a standalone business unit.
Since 1932, Blackmores has been connecting people to the healing power of nature, thanks to the vision of our pioneering founder Maurice Blackmore (1906-1977). Maurice Blackmore started one of Australia’s first health food stores in Brisbane in 1938. He dedicated his life and legacy to the advancement of natural health medicine in the mainstream, establishing the first naturopathic colleges and associations in Australia.

BioCeuticals Clinical is developed by experts for clinicians. With complex formulas, higher doses, and new ingredients, the BioCeuticals Clinical brand supports clinicians to support health for patients who need specialised care. The range requires the higher knowledge and advice of a qualified Healthcare Professional and is exclusively available in Health Food Stores and through clinicians in Private Practice.
Celloid Mineral Therapy is a range unique to Blackmores Professional. Based on the application of eleven minerals that form the fundamental structure of the body, Mineral Therapy was pioneered in 1938 by Maurice Blackmore. Mineral Therapy are suited to practitioners advising pregnant women, children, babies, and elderly or fragile patients. Blackmores Professional is available in Pharmacy, Healthfood Store and through clinicians in Private Practice.
